SCL 674—California

Otherwise known as the Rubino Site, CA-SCL-674 was an extensive prehistoric cemetery with intermittent to moderate occupation. Over 230 burials span a temporal range of two millennia, between approximately 2,300 to 300 years ago. CA-SCl-674 is situated within the territory of the Ohlone/San Juan Bautista Tribelet.

Between 1996 and 1999, 272 individuals, along with thousands of associated artifacts, were exposed and excavated. Radiocarbon testing indicated the occupancy of the site dates from ca. 350 B.C. to A.D.1750.
