Archeo-Tec founder Alan
Pastron was honored during the excavation of the Hoff store
site, at Sacramento and Battery Streets, by an appearance in the
San Francisco Chronicle cartoon, Farley. The dig, which
yielded millions of Gold Rush era artifacts, took place in 1986.
